Your watch is celebratorily given to you in our workshop. Alternatively we gladly send watch and master to your home in Germany.

    By now the manufacture workshop by Blome Uhren exists for more than 50 years and has remained the largest shop floor of a single concessionaire in Germany ever since.

History

  • 1947

    The history of Blome takes its humble beginnings in the little home watch workshop at Ostendorfstreet, where former founder Heinrich (Henry) Blome courageously invests in those of his belongings that have survived and sustained in times of war: merely watch making instruments.

    1948

    Heinrich Blome moves into a small store at Koenigsallee 56. As he and Alice Blome begin to raise sales of selected high grade watches and to run their own watch workshop at the urban boulevard, they are soon rewarded by success: their little venture is soon to be considered one of the leading watch stores in Germany.

    1964

    Second generation Dieter Blome enters Blome business. In October 1964 the Blome Junior is not only officially made a watch making master by the Chamber of Crafts in Düsseldorf but also becomes the business’ co-owner.

  • 1996

    Blome begins a new chapter: by Nicole Blome the company is now enriched by the third generation.


    1997

    By October 1997 Blome, as a watch store with its own watch making workshop, celebrates 50th anniversary.


    2003

    Dieter Blome hands over business to his daughters Nicole and Christine.


    2006

    Christine officially joins the company.


    2007

    BLOME celebrates 60th anniversary. In the same year Nick, the son of Nicole and with him the 4th generation of BLOME is born.

    2011

    Nicole and Christine remodel business premises.


    2012

    The workshop is expensively remodeled and expanded. The entire equipment is adjusted to latest technology standards.


    2013

    The 4th generation of BLOME extends: After Laura adds to the watch Clan in 2009, Charlotte and Paul follow in 2013. Around half a year after the company decides to add an Online-Shop to the original service. For several prime brands BLOME becomes the first online concessionaire worldwide.
