The Seamaster Diver, mission made possible
The first Seamaster Diver by Omega was launched in 1957. In introducing the Seamaster diver’s watch the Swiss watch manufacture in Biel did officially reset standards of reliability as well as design. Thereby the “Diver” rose in worldwide favor and was successfully followed by the Omega Seamaster Diver Co-Axial 300M. Due to the helium escape valve which handles pressure differences the Diver qualifies for a depth up to 300m.
The Seamaster collection
As any other selection by Omega also the Diver collection includes multiple models for him as for her. Minding their manners manufacturers provide for female preferences for smaller size by presenting a 36,25mm or 28mm substitute to the 41 mm model, while gents are generously comforted with the two later options only. Additionally the Omega Seamaster Diver has been launched in two special editions, enabling Omega to express cultural commitment. The ETNZ Limited Edition pays tribute to the New Zealand Sailing Team which is for being said a world-renowned regatta gladly supplied and supported by Omega. Just as the James Bond 50th Anniversary, as an actual dedication to the man who never missed the company of an Omega watch, it has found its fame and fans. Incorporated into a case of stainless steel the Seamaster Diver features navy blue as well as all black dials. The 28mm lady’s model is furthermore enhanced by both, a diamond-studded ceramic bezel and diamond-studded hour indices. On the occasion of the one and only secret agent’s Anniversary Omega enhanced the Seamaster Diver by an exceptional engraving on the back, reminiscent of the latest Bond’s opening scene.
