MeisterSinger No. 02
MeisterSinger No. 02 from Munster
Single-hand watches by watch manufacture MeisterSinger from Munster in North Rhine Westphalia are a monument of the very origins of time. Driven by the impulse to include hours and minutes in a single hand, the company, found in 1999 is clearly committed to minimalism without ever losing sight of elegance and vibrancy. The No.02 is another example of plain appeal which is not expressed in exceeding complexity but prime precision and purity.
No. 02 Design
As its forerunner MeisterSinger manufacturer’s No. 01, the No. 02 follows the geometrically all accurate order of hours only adding numeral applications and more incisive index markers to a delicate dial design. The case and curved bezel enclose the dial with a single needle-sharp hand, which displays passing hours accurately enough to set minutes aside. The No. 02 is powered by the Swiss-made Unitas 6498 manual-wind movement. The original pocket watch movement is effectively enhanced by a fine sunburst and made visible by a glass exhibition back fixed with four blued screws. The models of the collection are available in different versions.
